Making them go through red tape to get the pink tape, nice

  2. frontadmiral

Shit that made me want to switch to pink tape

  3. sentrosi420

Yeah.. it’s hard to argue the hard copies.

  4. NoghaDene

Big Pink Tape has entered the sub and isn’t messing around…

  5. OdinsLightning

The reason for blue is there is no blue food for it to get camouflaged in. Same with Bandaids. Pink can hide in lots of stuff

  6. PlasmaGoblin

My argument would just be, it’ll make us happy and not hound you for the change.

  7. amazonhelpless

Counter point: there are pink foods in a kitchen and you don’t want to be serving people tiny pieces of tape. Same reason why food service bandaids are bright blue.

As a graphic artist, who lurks here for some reason, and find myself constantly having to battle with clients over WHY contrast is sooo important and repeatedly find myself having to tell people stuff like navy blue writing on a black background is not a good design decision.

I say go with the pink.

Plus, it gives you an excuse to belt out one of the greatest Aerosmith songs from time to time.

  9. thewebspinner

So we’re all switching to pink tape right?

  10. CranberrySchnapps

You should reply back stating if the topic of switching tape is truly on the table, neon yellow, lime green, and fluorescent orange should be considered as well.

  11. -praughna-

This went from “ha ha very funny” to “oh shit should I switch the pink tape?”

  12. an0nim0us101

Hey chatgpt, write a funny and sarcastic letter to my boss the chef arguing why we should use pink tape instead of blue..

That said the arguments are good, I would switch to pink tape because it’s a good argument and pink Sharpies because I’m an asshole.

  13. ZebraHunterz

And then you said sorry the blue tape is a nickel less a roll.

  14. I think you shouldn’t make such an important decision based on such preliminary findings. I would approach this topic by setting up a project steering committee and a clear project plan with achievable but bold schedule. I think 3 to 6 months of proof of concept should allow to gather some preliminary findings based on which you can consider the next steps. This would clear a path for the introduction of proper testing. I estimate that this time next year, we should be closer to creating a list of potential providers for final testing.

I really enjoyed reading this in a trump voice. Hilarious you got a good team chef

  16. the swatch sample is killing me…the ragged blue edges, the magically sharp pink, terrible handwriting on blue, tidy on pink—you better hold them to these improved handwriting standards chef!

  17. AnotherRandomDFF

Shit I only work FoH decades ago and I’m getting the pink tape.

  18. Mermaid_meriah_

I love the pink tape code ‘FF5BAE’ 😂

  19. glitter_bitch

they even included hex codes, so i will hand the win to them on passion alone lol

One of your kitchen workers is underemployed.

  21. phyllorhizae

Very tempted to send this to my own chef in an attempt to get pink tape.

  22. BananaOrp

As someone who works with web products I was absolutely tickled by the citation of WCAG standards for contrast. Love how deep they went in their arguments in favor

  23. CertainRegret4491

That is some quality work. Did you just reply “fine “?

  24. girlwithsilvereyes

I was tickled by this and showed out to my husband, who said he just labeled all his guitar pedal boxes with blue tape and noticed he couldn’t read them in low light, so now he’s going to go look for pink tape. So you can tell your crew their argument is making a difference outside your kitchen!
